Eik Teleport is situated 13 km from Moi, the administrative center in Lund municipality. In November 2025, we upgraded our Eik Teleport facility in Norway with modern, high-tech office space for our Network Operations Centre. The facility now serves as a broader Managed Services Support Centre, supporting the growing range of digital systems used across our maritime customer base.\nMarlink is looking fora Network & Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen our team in Norway.\nWe design, build and operate secure network solutions for customers around the world, combining Starlink and other satellite services, LTE/5G, terrestrial connectivity and SD-WAN.\nOur customers operate in demanding maritime environments where reliable and secure connectivity is critical.\nWe’re looking for an engineer with a solid networking background and an interest in cybersecurity. You don’t need previous experience with satellite communications. If you understand networking, we can teach you the rest.\nWhat You’ll Do\nSupport pre-sales activities with technical and domain expertise\n\nDesign, configure, secure and optimize network infrastructure for global customers\n\nPerform changes, upgrades and troubleshooting on live customer networks\n\nTake part in internal R&D, testing and solution development in our labs\n\nWork on technical projects together with customers, vendors and internal teams\n\nDocument solutions, configurations and processes for internal use and customer handovers\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nYou should have a good understanding of networking and an interest in cybersecurity. We don’t expect you to know everything on the list below, but experience in several of these areas is relevant:\nNetworking: SD-WAN, IP routing, IPsec, VLANs\n\nNGFW and routing platforms: Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto\n\nCybersecurity: risk analysis and mitigation, UR E27\n\nSecurity tools: monitoring, vulnerability scanning\n\nVirtualization platforms: Proxmox, VMware\n\nCertifications from Fortinet, Cisco, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent are an advantage\n\nAbout You\nYou enjoy working with networks and solving technical problems.
