Also evaluate, refurbish, and redeploy computers. Troubleshoot user problems at the desktop. Knowledge of PC hardware, software and networking issues. Independently resolves hardware break-fix issues, network connectivity and application related questions for third party products. Coordinates with the appropriate subject matter experts to obtain assistance to resolve concerns for proprietary applications of the client. Assist Project Managers in the end to end process for destination moves and hardware/software upgrades. Includes client interviews, technology evaluations and recommendations, developing integration requirements, application configuration/distribution, UAT, on site resource management, technical training and Day One support.\nAdminister and support Microsoft Intune, including device management, software deployment, configuration, compliance, and inventory.\nManage Windows patching and Update Rings, including troubleshooting devices that are not successfully receiving updates.\nProvide day-to-day administration and troubleshooting of our Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment using Nerdio.\nSupport thin-client devices used within the virtual desktop environment.\nTroubleshoot Windows endpoint, application, device, connectivity, and performance issues.\nSupport the University’s printer fleet, including printing, driver, queue, and connectivity issues.\nAssist with the University’s phone environment, including routine user, device, and configuration requests.\nProvide technical assistance to the Help Desk and help resolve more complex faculty, staff, and student technology issues.\nMaintain accurate endpoint inventory and documentation.\nDocument system changes, recurring issues, and work performed during the assignment.\nAssist with onboarding new faculty and staff.\nWork with other IT staff and vendors when escalation or additional expertise is needed.\nSkills\n3+ years of experience in systems administration, endpoint administration, desktop engineering, or a comparable technical support role.\nHands-on experience administering Microsoft Windows endpoints.\nExperience with Microsoft Intune or a comparable enterprise endpoint-management platform.\nExperience with software deployment, patching, and Windows update management.\nStrong Windows troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nExperience supporting users in an enterprise environment.\nWorking knowledge of Active Directory and/or Microsoft Entra ID.\nGeneral understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi.\nAbility to work independently, prioritize issues, and determine when escalation is appropriate.\nStrong communication and documentation skills.\nPreferred\nExperience with Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).\nExperience with Nerdio Manager.\nThin-client support experience.\nAdvanced Microsoft Intune experience.\nEnterprise printer or phone system support.\nExperience working in higher education.\nInterest in automation.\nInterest orskilled in automation tools\nLocation: Nashua, NH (Onsite)\nShift: 37.5- 40 hours ~~but after hours support needed if system updates, tech refresh- time off during week to balance out~~\nPay rate: $25 -
