If you share our passion, we would love to cook with you and add your special ingredients to our recipe.\nOverview of the role\nThe Bar Back will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service to all guests that is consistent and continually in accordance with the Epicurean Hotel [Hotel Name] service standards and Mainsail Lodging & Development standards. The Bar Back will also be responsible for helping all other staff and operations to maintain a well-organized, clean, and well-stocked outlet. Friendly interactions with patrons will be required, but the focus will be on the support staff position.\nWhat you have\nHigh school diploma, equivalent, or higher\n\nPrevious hospitality experience\n\nMinimum 1-year experience working in a restaurant or bar setting\n\nKnowledge and experience with beer, wine, and liquor\n\nCustomer service experience\n\nStrong communication skills, both verbal and written\n\nExperience working on a team in a hospitality setting\n\nAbility to use technology, e.g., computers, tablets, iPads, and POS\n\nAbility to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.\n\nA sense of ownership in everything that you do\n\nWhat you’ll do\nProvide service to bartenders in a timely manner\n\nPrepare beverage garnishes and mixes\n\nEnsure proper stocking and rotation of beer, liquor, wine, and consumable items\n\nClean glasses, utensils, tools, and other bar equipment\n\nRun food from kitchen to bar and bar area to ensure guests receive their food in a timely manner\n\nProvide guests with menu knowledge, including ingredients, preparation, and prices\n\nMaintain opening and closing par levels for beer, wine, liquor, and consumables\n\nAssist in the receiving and unloading of bar items. Ensure proper stocking\n\nMaintain a clean and organized bar, cooler, and bar storage area\n\nOther necessary duties as reasonably assigned by the manager\n\nPhysical Demand\nAbility to sit or stand
