We hope so.\nBeacon Social Drinkery Bar Back will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service to all guests that is consistent and continually in accordance to the Luminary Hotel & Co. service standards and standards of Mainsail Lodging & Development. Beacon Bar Back will also be responsible for helping all other staff and operations to maintain a well-organized, clean and well stocked outlet. Friendly interactions with patrons will be required but focus will be on the support staff position.Essential Functions\nProvide service to bartenders in a timely manner\nPrepare all mixes and garnishes\nEnsure proper rotation of all liquor, beer, wine and consumable items\nKeep bar top clean and free of dirty glasses, trash, etc. throughout shift\nKeep back bar clean and organized\nClean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment\nClean all spills immediately and place all trash in proper receptacles\nSweep and mop as needed\nEmpty trash as necessary\nAssist with loading/unloading of miscellaneous equipment, such as boxes, food and beverage product\nMaintain opening/closing liquor, beer, wine and consumables par\nEnsure all stocking is complete, requisitions are filled out and any shortage of stock is reported\nProvide guests with accurate and thorough information regarding menu items, pricing, and allergen information\nLight food running when applicable, ability to carry plates that may be warm or hot\nRecognize and cultivate regular guests and repeat business\nRespond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints while maintaining a positive attitude escalating to management when necessary\nMonitor potentially intoxicated and/or disruptive guests and promptly bring to a manager’s attention\nInform management of any complaint, comments or incident\nEnsure nightly/weekly and opening/running/closing duties are completed\nRecord and report any equipment failure and/or safety hazards to management immediately\nMove furniture as directed by management, including but not limited to: tables, chairs, bar stools, banquettes, bar tables, boxes, and equipment\nComply with all safety and health department procedures and all state and federal liquor laws\nMaintain company safety and sanitation standards\nAssists and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned by management\nQualification Standards\nEducation & Experience\nHigh School diploma or higher\nPrevious hospitality experience required\nMinimum of one (1) year related experience\nExperience with POS systems\nFamiliarity with beer and spirits\nProper lifting techniques\nGuest relations\nSanitation and safety\nSafe alcohol service\nFull service restaurant operations\nPhysical Demands\nAbility to lift 30 pounds or more\nAbility to sit or stand for extended periods of time\nAbility to communicate clearly\nCorrected vision to normal range\nAbility to work long hours as needed\nMental Demands\nMake sound judgments quickly\nWork on multiple tasks, making
