The Lead Multi-Outlet Food & Beverage Supervisor will act as the right hand to the Food & Beverage Assistant General Manager(s), Assistant Director of F&B, and Director of F&B, taking on additional responsibilities and leadership tasks as needed within Luminary Hotel & Co. and/or Caloosa Sound Convention Center & Amphitheater.Essential Functions\nResponsible for daily function of the hotel operations to include Dean Street Roastery, Lobby Bar, Silver King, Ella Mae’s Diner, Workshop, Beacon Social Drinkery, Chips Sports Pub, Oxbow Restaurant, Caloosa Sound and any other food and beverage special events as directed by the outlet General Manager or Director of F&B\nEnsure that scheduled functions are complete and are set up accurately\nAssist in maintaining a motivated, interactive positive team\nAssist with on boarding and training staff\nMaintain professionalism with team members, managers and guests.\nOpen and close shift in accordance with the manager’s checklist\nGreet guests, initiate conversations with guests and solicit feedback from guests.\nAssist with the F&B team member schedules according to the business forecast, payroll budget guidelines, and productivity requirements; submit completed schedules to the Assistant General Manager(s) and Assistant Director of F&B when required\nAssist with cover forecasting and adjusting when necessary\nImplement proper tools for running shifts: e.g. Schedules, floor plans, reservations, etc.\nSolve team member issues such as call outs or any other daily issue that should arise with team members\nFind solutions to guest issues such as last-minute changes in reservations, cancellations, etc.\nStay accessible to the floor(s) the entire meal period(s)\nMonitor hours and watch the flow of business and make cuts appropriately as to not negatively affect the service levels.\nEnsure daily side work has been completed prior to staff leaving\nEnsure team is in proper uniform/approved attire\nEnsure guest privacy and security by correctly following hotel procedures\nAttempt to limit problems and liability related to customers' drinking by following TIPS practices\nEnsure team members are aware of all applicable laws regarding alcoholic beverages\nMonitor beverage staff to ensure proper portion control and maintain low beverage cost\nFollow SafeStaff sanitary compliance throughout all areas\nEnsure compliance with all F&B policies and procedures by training, supervision, and follow- up using a “hands on” approach\nMonitor and maintain tables\nRotate stations fairly\nDemonstrate positive communication with team\nMaintain fair and consistent coaching and counseling\nAttend meetings as necessary\nCommunicate and maintain positive inter-departmental relations\nCheck identification of customers in order to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol\nCommunicate with managers and next shift any issues\nMaintain regular attendance in compliance with Hotel's policy; following a schedule which will vary according to the needs of the hotel and may require a varying weekly schedule\nPerform other duties as management requests to service our guests\nQualification Standards\nEducation & Experience\nHigh School diploma or higher\nPrevious Hospitality Food & Beverage experience required\nExcellent customer service skills\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written\nAbility to use technology e.g. tablets, iPads \nExperience with Micros POS preferred\nExperience with OpenTable restaurant management software or Yelp
