Do you excel at leading cross-functional teams through technically challenging programs with real business impact?\nMainspring Energy is seeking a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager to lead critical product development initiatives for our Linear Generator-from early program definition through execution and successful transition to high-volume manufacturing.\nIn this role, you will own complex, multi-disciplinary programs, drive alignment across engineering and operations teams, surface risks early, and enable informed decision-making at the executive level.\nResponsibilities\nOwn and drive complex product development programs: Lead a portfolio of programs ranging from focused tactical initiatives to multi-year, company-wide efforts, ensuring delivery against technical, schedule, and business objectives\nProgram-level decision ownership: Frame tradeoffs, resolve cross-functional conflicts, and drive alignment when priorities compete\nExecutive and stakeholder communication: Communicate clearly and effectively with senior leadership and external partners to drive decisions, provide program visibility, and escalate risks proactively\nCross-functional leadership: Partner closely with engineering, reliability, test, operations, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to align priorities and streamline execution\nManufacturing readiness and scale: Drive programs through NPI, manufacturing handoff, and production ramp, ensuring design, supply chain, and operational readiness\nTools, process, and systems optimization: Leverage tools such as Jira and enterprise data systems to improve program transparency, execution discipline, and cross-team collaboration\nRisk management: Identify technical, operational, and schedule risks early; lead mitigation planning and execution across teams\nQualifications\n15+ years Program leadership experience: Proven success leading complex, cross-functional technical programs from concept through production in fast-paced hardware development environments.
