They will ensure consistent and compliant system configurations, leveraging tools such as Rudder to automate and standardize setups across environments. Additionally, they will play a key role in creating and maintaining documentation for these processes, building a knowledge base that supports team-wide efficiency and scalability.\nA primary responsibility in this role is establishing and refining monitoring and observability practices. The engineer will oversee and optimize monitoring platforms (e.g., Zabbix) to track system metrics, set up alerting, and quickly identify and address performance issues. They will also conduct regular system maintenance tasks-such as updates, patches, and performance tuning-ensuring high availability and system efficiency.\nAs a senior engineer, this role includes mentoring junior team members, guiding them through troubleshooting processes, and sharing best practices to elevate the team’s collective expertise. The engineer will collaborate on capacity planning, working to align infrastructure resources with current demands and projected growth.
