Mainz Brady Group is seeking an Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, production reliability, monitoring, and security. The role focuses on SRE, cloud networking, infrastructure automation, troubleshooting, and DevSecOps practices.\n\nResponsibilities\nManage, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure and supporting services \nSupport SRE initiatives , focusing on system reliability, performance, monitoring, and operational efficiency\nConfigure, tune, and optimize application performance monitoring (APM), logging, and observability systems \nTroubleshoot infrastructure and production issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions\nUse Terraform and Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and maintenance\nSupport cloud networking , connectivity, and infrastructure security\nImplement defense-in-depth security principles and contribute to DevSecOps best practices\nMonitor Kubernetes environments and support the infrastructure services surrounding containerized applications\nIndependently manage assigned tickets, prioritize work, and drive tasks through completion\nCollaborate with Engineering, Security, and Development teams to improve infrastructure reliability and automation\nIdentify opportunities to improve existing infrastructure processes, monitoring, and security controls\n\nSkills\n3–5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related role\nStrong understanding of cloud infrastructure and cloud networking with GCP preferred\nHands-on experience with Terraform and/or Ansible for Infrastructure as Code and configuration management\nExperience supporting production systems, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting\nFamiliarity with APM and observability tools, including configuring or tuning monitoring systems\nUnderstanding of DevSecOps principles and defense-in-depth security practices\nBasic knowledge of Kubernetes, particularly monitoring and supporting containerized environments\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills\nAbility to work independently, take ownership of assigned work, and consistently deliver results\nGCP preferred\nExperience working in SaaS or cloud-native environments\nExperience with GCP or other major cloud platforms\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation\nExperience improving monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes\nKnowledge of Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals\nExperience implementing infrastructure security improvements and DevSecOps best practices\nBackground working in a startup or smaller engineering team where engineers take ownership of multiple infrastructure responsibilities\n\nBenefits\nRemote work in Portland, OR, with some onsite preference\n\nCompany Overview\nMainz Brady Group is a staffing and recruiting company providing software, research, and biotechnology staffing services.
