From designing data architectures and building prototypes to connecting AI agents with enterprise systems, your work will directly influence how we build and scale our Data & AI platform.\nThis isn't a role where you simply create diagrams and hand them off. You'll roll up your sleeves, build what you can, and guide the technical design of what comes next.\nYou don't need to be an expert in every technology. We're looking for someone with strong technical fundamentals, curiosity, and the drive to build, experiment, and grow.\nAbout the Role\nAs our Platform Architect - Data & AI, you'll design and prototype solutions that connect enterprise data, applications, cloud infrastructure, and AI capabilities.\nYou'll translate business needs into practical technical architectures, build core components and proofs of concept, and define the integrations, infrastructure, and security requirements needed to bring solutions to life.\nWhen a solution requires specialized engineering or infrastructure work, you'll document the design and partner with our Platform Delivery Lead, who will coordinate execution with the appropriate teams.\nOnce the solution is implemented, you'll validate that the components work together as intended.\nYou'll own the technical design from concept through validation, with the opportunity to build and prototype along the way.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign Data & AI architectures. Create scalable technical designs that connect enterprise applications, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, and AI capabilities.\n\nBuild and prototype solutions. Develop proofs of concept, core data structures, SQL tables, integrations, and working components to test ideas and accelerate delivery.\n\nArchitect enterprise data flows. Design how data moves from source systems through ingestion, transformation, and business-ready data models that support analytics, applications, and AI.\n\nConnect AI with enterprise systems. Design solutions using AI gateways, Model Context Protocol (MCP), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), APIs, and agentic AI architectures.\n\nTurn designs into actionable technical plans. Define requirements for infrastructure, hosting, security, identity management, and integrations. Partner with the Platform Delivery Lead to coordinate work that requires specialized teams.\n\nValidate end-to-end solutions. Review completed implementations, test connectivity and integrations, and confirm solutions meet architectural and business requirements.\n\nWhat You Bring\nWe're looking for a hands-on technologist who understands how systems connect and enjoys designing and building solutions, not just talking about them.\nExperience in solution architecture, platform engineering, data engineering, software development, or a related technical discipline.\nHands-on experience designing, developing, or prototyping technical solutions.\nStrong understanding of SQL, data modeling, data integration, and how data moves across enterprise systems.\nWorking knowledge of cloud architecture, APIs, application integrations, and modern data platforms.\nAbility to translate business requirements into technical designs, diagrams, specifications, and working prototypes.\nFamiliarity with AI technologies and an interest in building secure, practical AI solutions that connect with enterprise data.\nYou don't need to have held an Architect title before. The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $135,000. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US.
