Full-time role in Nairobi.\n\nRole Summary\n\nThe Associate Manager – Analytics is responsible for handling the data analysis and database management for the Commercial team. The role holder is also responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the performance of the business/function.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAcquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.\n\nWork with management to prioritise business and information needs.\n\nCompile and properly store all the data pertaining to International Merchandising & Sourcing departments.\n\nExtract data in response to incoming data requests and ensure consistency and accuracy of data.\n\nSuggest ways to increase the capacity and enhance the efficiency of the strategic databases.\n\nMonitor sourcing data to ensure the objectives are achieved, analyse financial impact of price approach in view of overall history and inform relevant stakeholders.\n\nWork with management to prioritise business and information needs.\n\nDevelop and review vendors/competitors pricing and provide it to the merchandising and sourcing teams.\n\nRequirements\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics preferred.\n\n2 – 4 years of relevant experience in as a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analysis role .\n\nStrong experience managing e-commerce / Data / digital marketing .\n\nExpert in SQL, Advanced Excel, other scripting languages (R, Python, etc.) .\n\nStrong experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview, Datastudio, etc) .\n\nAbility to quickly synthesize, distill and draw conclusions on large amounts of disparate data .\n\nWhat we Offer\n\nAt Majid Al Futtaim, we’re on a mission to create great moments, to spread happiness, to build, experiences that stay in our memories for a lifetime.
