This position plays a critical role in ensuring crews arrive safely and on time for shift changes and daily operations.\nThe Van Driver will operate company vehicles, maintain safe driving practices, and provide professional transportation services for employees working rotating day and night shifts. Due to the nature of the operation, this position requires a flexible split-shift schedule to accommodate crew rotations.\nKey Responsibilities\nSafely transport employees between Elko and the Horse Canyon project site.\nConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.\nMaintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles.\nEnsure compliance with all company transportation policies and applicable driving regulations.\nMonitor weather and road conditions and adjust travel plans as needed to ensure safe transportation.\nMaintain accurate mileage, inspection, and transportation records.\nCoordinate with operations personnel regarding crew transportation schedules and shift changes.\nProvide professional and courteous customer service to employees utilizing transportation services.\nRespond appropriately to emergencies, vehicle breakdowns, or changing operational needs.\nAdhere to all Major Drilling safety standards and procedures.\nRequired Qualifications\nValid driver's license with a clean driving record.\nAbility to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.\nMinimum 21 years of age.\nPrevious commercial, passenger transportation, shuttle, bus, or van driving experience preferred.\nStrong safety awareness and defensive driving skills.\nAbility to work independently with limited supervision.\nReliable attendance and punctuality.\nGood communication and organizational skills.\nWorking Conditions\nFrequent driving in varying weather and road conditions.\nExtended periods of sitting and operating a vehicle.\nEarly morning, daytime, nighttime, and weekend work required.\nRotating day and night schedules based on operational needs.\nSplit-shift schedule designed to support crew change transportation requirements.\nExposure to mining and industrial work environments during employee pickups and drop-offs.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to safely enter and exit vehicles multiple times per shift.\nAbility to sit for extended periods while driving.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.\nAbility to perform vehicle inspections, including bending,
