If you’re excited by big challenges and bold ideas, and want to help shape the future of international banking, we’d love to hear from you.\nThe Role: \nMAJORITY is looking for a disciplined, curious, and analytical individual early in their regulatory or compliance career who is eager to gain hands-on experience in financial products and a deep understanding of the complex regulatory frameworks that govern them, from within a fast-growing U.S. startup environment. \nThis role will be responsible for communicating with both internal stakeholders and representing MAJORITY in front of external regulators and international partners. The ideal candidate is a fast learner with sharp critical thinking skills who can take full ownership of business-critical projects and is excited to take on new challenges and get the opportunity to take on greater responsibility. This is an in-person position based out of our Miami office.\nRole Responsibilities:\nLicensing & Regulatory Support\nAssist in the preparation, submission, and tracking of state money transmitter license applications, renewals, and amendments.\nGather, organize, and validate required materials including corporate records, financial information, policies, and background documentation.\nSupport filings through systems such as the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) and state regulator portals, where applicable.\nSupport audits and exams by coordinating document collection and responses to inquiries.\nCross-Team Collaboration\nPartner closely with Legal, Compliance, Finance, Product, and Operations teams to understand business activities and translate them into accurate regulatory submissions.\nAsk questions to dig deeper and ensure licensing applications fully and accurately reflect products, services, and operational realities.\nRegulatory Communication\nDraft and coordinate responses to regulator inquiries under guidance from senior team members.\nTrack regulatory correspondence, requests, and deadlines with strong attention to detail.\nProcess & Knowledge Building\nMaintain internal trackers, calendars, and documentation related to licensing status and regulatory obligations.\nHelp with developing internal processes, templates, and institutional knowledge around licensing workflows.\nExperience and Qualifications:\n2-4 years of experience in one or more of the following:Regulatory operations, compliance, legal operations, or risk\nFinancial services, fintech, payments, banking, or regulated industries\nGovernment, regulatory agencies, or professional services supporting regulated clients\n\nKnowledge of regulatory filings, audits, or structured documentation processes.\nExperience with money transmitter licensing is a significant plus.\nStrong critical thinking skills: able to connect dots between business activities and regulatory requirements.\nAble to learn complex subject matter quickly and independently.\nIntellectual curiosity about financial products, payments flows, and how regulated businesses operate.\nAble to communicate with important stakeholders across levels, from junior team members to senior leaders and external regulators.\nStrong organizational and project management skills: detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.\nAble to quickly learn about regulatory frameworks and be able to apply them thoughtfully to evolving business models.\nEducational Requirements: B.A./B.S.
