This is a full time, hybrid position based at our office in Stockholm, Sweden. Developers may work from home up to 2 days a week.\nAbout our platform and MAJORITY\nOur work matters to real people. It shows up in someone's paycheck or the money they send home\nWe build real-time money movement: card authorizations, risk decisions and balance updates that have to be fast and correct\nOur backend is C# microservices on Kubernetes, connected through events where every message counts\nOur engineers own what they build, from first design to production and beyond\nWe take on new challenges, not just new features, from new products to partner integrations\nTo secure high quality code we practice code review and pair programming, we use CI/CD and automated testing\nWe also have a lot of fun together. We have a lunch run club, play foosball and other games, go to the gym, AWs etc\nAbout you and your responsibilities\nYou take initiative and ownership, and don't wait to be told what to do\nYou are always curious and always learning\nYou take pride in the quality of your work.\nYou consider the whole system, cover the edge cases and test your codeYou are able to reason through the trade-offs and dare to make decisions for the benefit of the organization\nYou lead technical decisions and see them through\nYou think about the bigger picture: how services fit together and how the system will grow\nYou love to share your knowledge and learn from your colleagues\nBasic Requirements\nExperience building and running microservices and event-based systems in production, at scale\nA track record of shipping real systems and supporting them in production\nSolid understanding of distributed systems reliability: idempotency, retries, ordering and eventual consistency\nGood understanding of higher level architecture and design\nExcellent communication skills in English\nIdeal candidate\nExperience with C#, Kubernetes and SQL, or similar\nExperience with payment platforms, FinTech, Banking or security\nExperience working with a growing team on evolving products with many users\nExperience building new products with an eye on maintainability and scalability\nVision for product development and for how a code base evolves\nUses AI tools like Claude or Codex in daily work\nHappy hacking on new technology, loves R&D\nA degree in computer science\nA pleasure to work with\nIf you want to own systems that move real money for people building new lives, alongside a team that cares about getting it right, we'd love to hear from you.
