The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for backend app development. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that enhance user experiences and drive business outcomes.\nQualifications:\nYou will support the initial discovery process to understand how our clients do their work currently, capturing interview notes and parsing through their existing documentation, as well as documenting their present-day workflows and any associated files and data into comprehensive process diagrams.\n\n7+ years of experience in Python, with at least 4 years using Flask\n\nRelevant experience using SQLAlchemy and pydantic.\n\nRelevant experience with using Docker.\n\nUnderstanding of microservices architecture and related patterns\n\nSolid software engineering skills, with the ability to produce well-structured, maintainable code\n\nFamiliarity with modern authorization mechanisms.\n\nSolid experience working from a fully remote position.\n\nGood English communication skills.\n\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop new features using Flask.\n\nOptimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.\n\nEnsure the technical feasibility of Ul/UX designs.\n\nCollaborate with frontend developers and web designers to improve usability.\n\nWrite robust, clean, and documented code.\n\nMaintain and enhance existing apps applications.\n\nConduct performance tests and ensure responsiveness and stability across all platforms.\n\nCore values for Makai employees\nHave a strong work ethic.
