Financial management and reportingPrepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) in line with Egyptian Accounting Standards.\n\nPrepare the annual budget and rolling forecasts; report actual vs. budget variances with clear explanations.\n\nProvide management with reports on profitability by product, customer and production line.\n\nCoordinate the annual external audit and act as the main contact for auditors.\n\n2. Treasury, banking and credit facilitiesOwn relationships with all banks and negotiate new facilities, renewals, pricing and collateral.\n\nManage credit facilities: overdrafts, short- and medium-term loans, import financing, letters of credit (LCs) and letters of guarantee (LGs).\n\nPrepare facility applications and the financial files, studies and reports banks request.\n\nMonitor facility limits, utilization, maturities, interest and bank charges; ensure covenants are met.\n\nManage foreign-currency needs for raw-material imports and export proceeds; minimize FX costs.\n\nPrepare daily cash positions and weekly / monthly cash-flow forecasts.\n\nSupervise the Treasury Accountant: bank transactions, transfers, cheques and monthly bank reconciliations.\n\n3. Accounts receivable and collectionsSet and enforce the customer credit policy and credit limits, together with Sales.\n\nSupervise the AR Accountant: invoicing, customer statements, aging reports and collections follow-up.\n\nReview overdue balances weekly and escalate high-risk accounts.\n\nOversee export documentation and collection of export proceeds (LCs, documentary collections, transfers).\n\n4. Accounts payable and suppliersSupervise the AP Accountant: supplier invoices, three-way matching (PO, receipt, invoice) and supplier statements.\n\nPlan supplier payments in line with cash flow, facility availability and agreed terms.\n\nReconcile supplier accounts monthly and resolve disputes.\n\n5. General accounting and month-end closeSupervise the General Accountant: journal entries, accruals, fixed assets and depreciation, and general ledger reconciliations.\n\nRun a fast, accurate month-end close against a fixed timetable.\n\nMaintain the chart of accounts and accounting policies.\n\n6. Manufacturing cost accountingBuild and maintain product costing for non-woven fabrics: raw materials (polypropylene, polyester fibers and others), labor, energy and overheads.\n\nTrack production costs, waste, second-choice output and raw-material yield by line.\n\nReconcile inventory (raw materials, WIP, finished goods and spare parts) with the warehouse; supervise physical stock counts.\n\nSupport pricing decisions with accurate cost and margin analysis.\n\n7. Odoo ERPOwn the Accounting, Invoicing and related modules in Odoo (sales, purchases, inventory, manufacturing as they affect finance).\n\nMake sure every transaction is recorded in Odoo correctly and on time, with sound configuration (taxes, journals, analytic accounts, cost centers).\n\nBuild reports and dashboards in Odoo; work with the Odoo partner on improvements and automation.\n\n8. Tax and complianceEnsure compliance with VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax and payroll tax requirements.\n\nOversee the Egyptian Tax Authority e-invoicing and e-receipt systems and their integration with Odoo.\n\nManage tax filings, tax inspections and the related documentation.\n\nFollow Central Bank of Egypt rules that affect imports, exports and foreign currency.\n\n9. Team leadership and internal controlsLead, train and evaluate the four accountants; set clear objectives and KPIs for each.\n\nDesign and apply internal controls, approval limits and segregation of duties.\n\nWrite and update finance procedures (SOPs).\n\nRequirements\nEducation and certificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.\n\nCMA, CPA, ACCA or an MBA in Finance is a strong plus.\n\nExperience10+ years of accounting and finance experience, including at least 4 years as Finance Manager or Chief Accountant.\n\nManufacturing experience is required; experience in textiles, non-woven fabrics or a similar industrial sector is preferred.\n\nProven, hands-on experience with banks: negotiating and renewing credit facilities, LCs, LGs and import / export financing.\n\nPractical experience in each of the areas the role manages: accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury and general accounting.\n\nExperience with an import- and export-oriented company is a plus.\n\nTechnical knowledgeStrong command of Egyptian Accounting Standards and Egyptian tax law (VAT, withholding, corporate tax, e-invoicing).\n\nSolid knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation and standard costing.\n\nHands-on Odoo experience (Accounting, Inventory, Purchase, Sales; Manufacturing a plus).
