This role provides hands-on leadership to drivers, monitors DOT compliance, supports multi-state delivery coordination, and ensures delivery standards are met across all service areas.\nThe Team Lead assists the Curbside Manager in maintaining operational efficiency, safety compliance, driver accountability, and overall customer satisfaction. This position may operate delivery routes as needed to maintain coverage and serves as a primary point of contact for driver-related and customer-related concerns during daily operations.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDaily Operations Support\nSupport daily operations of the Curbside department.\nCommunicate route feedback, adjustments, and operational concerns to the routing team.\nProvide input on multi-state delivery orders to ensure service standards and scheduling needs are met.\nAssist with operational adjustments based on volume, call-ins, or service issues.\nCover vacations, PTO, or sick days by running delivery routes as required.\nEnsure delivery paperwork, documentation, and system updates are completed accurately.\nDriver Management & Compliance\nProvide day-to-day direction and support to delivery drivers.\nHelp resolve driver issues in real time, including customer concerns, route challenges, or on-road issues.\nServe as a primary point of contact for customer issues that arise during deliveries and escalate when necessary.\nMonitor and manage driver DOT hours and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.\nOversee drivers’ hours, scheduling awareness, and time tracking accuracy.\nApprove time-off requests in coordination with the Curbside Manager.\nEnforce company policies, safety standards, and delivery procedures.\nHandle and document driver damages, ensuring proper reporting, communication, and follow-up according to company procedures.\nMaintain driver expectations regarding professionalism, safety, and customer service performance.\nFleet & Equipment Oversight\nMaintain truck maintenance schedules and coordinate service as needed.\nEnsure routine truck inspections and required documentation are completed.\nOversee cleanliness and organization of trucks and delivery equipment.\nMonitor and report vehicle damage or mechanical issues promptly.\nQualifications:\nInternal and external customer friendly.\nKnowledge of warehouse operations.\nBasic computer and maintenance skills.\nManagement capabilities\nSelf-motivated.\nAbility to work overtime when needed.\nAbility to manage multiple projects at once.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nLegally able to drive a company vehicle by maintaining a valid driver’s license and be insurable by our Company’s insurance.
