We’re looking for innovative, driven Site Reliability Engineers who are passionate about technology and sustainability to join us in building tools that enable companies to make smarter, more responsible decisions. All successful applicants will need to reside in Germany with legal working permits or residence permits.\nThe role:\nInfrastructure Management: Maintain and manage new and existing infrastructure, balancing both proactive and reactive maintenance.\n\nTechnical Problem Identification and Resolution: Identify technical problems and bottlenecks. Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve these issues efficiently.\n\nISO Compliance: Ensure all infrastructure and processes are in compliance with ISO standards, and assist in maintaining those certifications.\n\nProduction Support: Work closely with engineering teams to ensure our developed tools and applications run smoothly in a production environment.\n\nBackup Management: Oversee and manage all system backups, ensuring Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) are met.\n\nRelease Management Support: Assist in managing software releases to minimize disruption and maximize uptime.\n\nOff-Duty Support: Participate in an off-duty or pager duty rotation to provide round-the-clock system reliability and support.\n\nIncident Review and Analysis: Lead postmortems following any system disruptions, and help identify ways to prevent future incidents.\n\nInfrastructure Monitoring: Monitor system alerts and respond quickly to maintain system health and maximize uptime.\n\nCapacity Planning: Participate in planning server capacity, ensuring we can meet current and future demands\n\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.\n\n7+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or a similar role.\n\n3+ years in SRE, DevOps, or related infrastructure roles\n\nExperience supporting/coaching less experienced team members.\n\nAbility in building alerting and observability into all production systems (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch etc.)\n\nProven experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (ECS, EC2, etc) or Azure.\n\nExtensive experience using Terraform and Ansible.\n\nIncident management, postmortems, and on-call quality of life experience\n\nFamiliarity with disaster recovery planning and testing.\n\nStrong knowledge of system monitoring tools.\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.\n\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\n\nProven experience managing system backups and understanding of RTO and RPO.\n\nFamiliarity with release management processes.\n\nAbility to work in an on-call capacity.\n\nDefine the Site Reliability Strategy and Execute on it\n\nExperience in managing Stakeholders and expectations from Stakeholders\n\nExperience in dealing with concurring priorities / context switching\n\nProficiency in Python.\n\nWhat We Offer:\nCompetitive Salary - We reward your skills and experience with a compensation package that reflects your value.\n\n30 Days Paid Time Off - Take the time you need to recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balance.\n\nRemote-First Flexibility - Work from anywhere in Germany, with the option to collaborate in person at our offices in Stuttgart, Berlin (role dependent).\n\nGenerous Learning & Development Budget - We invest in your growth, providing ample resources for personal and professional development.\n\nChoose Your Ideal Work Equipment - Whether you prefer Apple or Microsoft, we’ll equip you with the tools you need to excel.\n\nThe Experience:\nPurpose-Driven Work - Build something meaningful.
