This role reports directly to the Reginal Customer Support Manager and plays a key part in supporting our customers’ machine tool operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nTravel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tool equipment and controls. (Makino provides a company vehicle; gas and travel expenses are covered.)\n\nUse online technical documentation, manuals, and vendor resources to research and resolve machine issues.\nComplete and submit accurate documentation to Makino and customers regarding machine status, repairs, and installations.\nPerform and promote preventive maintenance on customer equipment and provide after-sales technical support and training.\nMaintain an in-depth understanding of the machine tool industry and the Makino product lines.\nParticipate in training on CNC repair and Makino equipment during onboarding, \nQualifications & Skills\nExperience in CNC repair and troubleshooting is required including the ability to independently diagnose and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical and control systems.\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.\nProficiency with software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office); role requires regular use of a laptop, smartphone, and various applications.\nStrong technical, communication, and presentation skills.\nWillingness to work flexible hours with frequent travel throughout a regional territory.
