This role supports the management of the master production schedule by ensuring machines are ordered in alignment with production requirements, maintaining accurate machine status information on the machine availability list, and facilitating effective communication between Makino Mason and global operations. Through these efforts, the MSC helps ensure schedule adherence, inventory visibility, and organizational alignment across the global network.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES and AUTHORITIES include the following. Others may be assigned.\nMaster Production Scheduling Support\nSupport the development and maintenance of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) by ensuring machine inventory and configuration data remain current and accurate.\nMaintain planning tools, reports, and systems used to determine machine inventory requirements and forecasted shipment volumes.\nAssist the Master Scheduling Manager in preparing and coordinating monthly reviews of machine inventory forecasts, production schedules, and machine availability.\nEnsure machine availability information is accurately reflected in scheduling and inventory planning systems to support organizational planning and decision-making.\nSupport financial and operational planning activities by maintaining reliable scheduling and inventory data.\nMachine Procurement and Inventory Coordination\nWork with the Master Scheduling Manager and Inside Sales team to determine machine ordering requirements based on forecasted demand, inventory targets, and customer requirements.\nPrepare and process machine orders with Makino Tokyo (MT), Makino Asia (MA), and other global manufacturing affiliates.\nMaintain accurate machine configuration information and verify machine orders are placed correctly and in a timely manner.\nTrack machine orders throughout the production process and communicate status updates, schedule changes, and delivery information to relevant stakeholders.\nMaintain machine inventory records and support reporting requirements related to inventory availability and order status.\nOrder Execution and Cross-Functional Coordination\nSupport weekly cross-functional meetings to review machine orders, identify potential schedule conflicts, discuss open issues, and drive resolution of execution risks.\nMaintain critical order documentation and ensure required information is available to all stakeholders involved in the fulfillment process.\nMonitor order progress and proactively communicate issues that may impact machine availability, delivery schedules, or customer commitments.\nSupport continuous alignment between production schedules, inventory plans, and customer fulfillment activities\nSupport in the communication between Makino Mason and global manufacturing affiliates regarding machine orders, production schedules, and fulfillment-related requests.\nParticipate in regular meetings and daily communications with global affiliates to support schedule execution and issue resolution.\nMaintain data integrity within SAP, BOIS, and related planning systems.\nExecute system transactions required to support machine procurement, inventory management, and production planning activities.\nAssist in maintaining reporting tools, planning systems, and process documentation used by the scheduling function.\nQUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
