This role requires the application of advanced engineering principles to deliver innovative, high-quality, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.\n\nJob Responsibilities:\nLead the conceptualization, design, and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.\nCreate detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and technical specifications using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).\nPerform design calculations, simulations, and tolerance analysis.\nEnsure designs comply with functional, safety, regulatory, quality requirements.\nManage mechanical design projects from concept through production.\nDefine project scope, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.\nCoordinate with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, quality, and procurement).\nReview and approve engineering designs and changes.\nConduct engineering analyses and support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.\nInvestigate design-related failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.\nEnsure designs are optimized for manufacturability (DFM/DFA principles).\nCollaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve production issues and improve product quality.\nSupport tooling design, assembly processes, and cost reduction initiatives.\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.\nEstablish and maintain best practices, design standards, and engineering processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.\nTypically 6–10+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering.\n\nRequired Skills & Competencies:\nProven track record in product design and development.\nExperience with automation, robotics, or mechatronics (if relevant).\nFamiliarity with sustainability and cost optimization practices.\nUnderstanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nExcellent communication and presentation abilities.\nDemonstrated leadership and team collaboration capabilities.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in
