The role supports incoming quality inspections, supplier quality assurance activities, dimensional verification, non-conformance management, and continuous improvement initiatives to prevent supplier-related defects from reaching production and customers.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Incoming Quality Inspection\nPerform incoming inspections according to engineering drawings, specifications, inspection plans, and quality procedures.\n\nConduct dimensional, visual, and functional inspections using approved measuring equipment.\n\nVerify supplier inspection reports, material certificates, and quality documentation.\n\nPerform First Article Inspection (FAI), sample inspections, and special inspections as required.\n\nSupport urgent production requirements through priority inspection activities.\n\nRelease conforming materials and identify non-conforming materials in accordance with established procedures.\n\n2. Measurement & Inspection Activities\nOperate precision measuring equipment, including:\nCoordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)\n\nVernier Calipers\n\nMicrometers\n\nHeight Gauges\n\nDial Indicators\n\nSurface Roughness Testers\n\nHardness Testers\n\nCoating Thickness Meters\n\nSurface Analyzers\n\nMaintain accurate inspection and measurement records. Follow and adhere to all Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies, safe work procedures, and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment\n\nEnsure measuring equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.\n\n3. Supplier Quality Support\nSupport supplier quality investigations and containment activities.\n\nCollect and compile inspection data for Supplier Quality Index (SQI) and Vendor Quality Index (VQI) monitoring.\n\nAssist in supplier corrective action follow-up and effectiveness verification.\n\nParticipate in supplier audits and supplier qualification activities when required.\n\n4.
