neglected tropical disease interventions.\n\nWe are recruiting to fill the position below:\n\nJob Title: Research Specialist - Implementation & Operations Research\n\nLocation: Nigeria\n\nThe Vacancy\n\nMalaria Consortium is recruiting for a Research Specialist - Implementation and Operations Research on a permanent, full time basis to join our technical team to be based in either Uganda or Nigeria.\n\nRole Purpose\n\nThe Research Specialist will strengthen Malaria Consortium’s capacity to bridge the know–do gap by advancing the use of implementation science to understand how programmes are implemented in real-world settings and how they can be improved, adapted, and scaled.\nThe incumbent will support the Malaria Consortium global and country teams and external partners to generate and use high-quality evidence that strengthens Malaria Consortium, the Ministry of Health and partner learning, adaptation, and decision-making\n\nThe post holder is required to have\n\nExperience contributing to peer-reviewed publications and international conferences\nDemonstrated expertise with mixed methods research, including study design, data collection, and analysis.\nAbility to communicate effectively with diverse audiences\nProven academic/scientific publication writing skills • Effective presentation and facilitation skills\nStrong skills in using qualitative analytic software such as NVivo, Atlas Ti, etc\nStrong skills in operations and/or implementation research, including mixed methods research\nExperience working in low- and middle-income country settings.\nPostgraduate Degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related field with strong training in qualitative and mixed methods research. \nProven ability to translate complex research findings into clear, practical insights for decision-makers.\nHigh attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.\nSolid understanding of public health and health systems principles\nProficient user of statistical software such as STATA or R.\nDemonstrated experience in implementation science, health systems research, or applied public health research.\nGood quantitative and qualitative data analysis and data presentation skills\nExcellent project management, organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills. • Track record of peer-reviewed journals\nStrong interpersonal skills and adaptability in dynamic environments.\nAbility to provide remote and in-person technical support\n\nHow
