The role will be responsible for security monitoring and incident response, with a focus on identifying, investigating, and responding to security threats. Candidates should have prior experience working with an MSSP or MSP provider and preferably have regional experience.\n Security Monitoring and analysis: \nMonitor and analysis of security alerts and logs from various security systems and tools for suspicious activities. \nInvestigate and remediate security alerts and incidents. \nCorrelate and analyze data to identify patterns or anomalies. Security Tools Management:\nMaintain and configure security tools and systems, SIEM, NDR, Email Security, EDR.\nResponsible for implementing new security tools and technologies. Threat Intelligence: \nStay informed about current cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities. \nApply threat intelligence on various solutions and technologies to enhance detection and response capabilities\nDocumentation and Reporting:\nMaintain detailed records of security incidents, investigations, and remediation efforts. \nPrepare incident reports and documentation for management and stakeholders.\nDevelop monthly security reports.\nProvide security incident reports Collaboration:\nCollaborate with other security team members and IT personnel to share information and best practices.\nProvide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts (L1) as needed.\n Required Skills:\n(5) years of experience in a security analyst role, with a focus on incident response and security monitoring.\nProficiency with security tools and technologies, including SIEM platforms and EDR and systems.\nProfessional certifications such as SANS is a plus.\nExcellent knowledge in security incident response and analysis\nStrong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security threats.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nEffective communication and teamwork abilities.
