As part of Malt’s Engineering Manager Guild, you’ll also help scale what works across the org by contributing to shared rituals, tooling, and process improvements.\n\n Own our payments and financing ecosystemYou’ll be the primary tech point of contact for our external financial partners, from PSPs to cash advance providers. You’ll ensure smooth integration, operational reliability, and long-term scalability in this core part of Malt’s product.\n\nAbout you\nYou’re comfortable navigating fast-paced, evolving environments. Whether it’s managing technical migrations, shifting team structures, or aligning business and tech priorities.\nYou’ve mastered agile methodologies, and you know how to build high-performing product teams. You’ve worked in a scale-up or hyper-growth environment, and you understand how to balance speed, scalability, and quality.\nA significant experience as a senior individual contributor as backend/fullstack (ideally in java/Kotlin) You enjoy being part of code review, MR, architecture discussion, and technical quality.\nYou have an expertise in payment systems at scale. You understand the constraints and opportunities that come with building for this domain.\nYou’re someone who doesn’t wait for instructions; you act.
