This role owns the people agenda for the teams it supports, works closely with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, L&D and Finance, and contributes to improvements in performance management, employee relations and people analytics. Success in this role requires sound judgement, a proactive approach to delivering milestones and consistent delivery aligned with company standards. In the first phase, you will build trusted relationships with your managers, learn our people processesand deliver your first improvements to our performance and workforce planning cycles.Location: Munich, Germany (hybrid, at least 3 days working from the Munich office)\nWhat to expect\nOwn the day-to-day people partnering for your assigned teams, advising managers on hiring, performance, development and team topics\nDeliver our performance review and calibration cycles, and coach managers on giving clear feedback\nAnalyse people data on headcount, attrition and engagement, and propose actions to managers and the leadership team\nSupport workforce planning with functional leaders and Financeby preparing headcount data and scenarios\nManage employee relations cases with a fair, pragmatic and legally sound approach, escalating complex matters where relevant\nCoordinate with employer of record partners to give remote colleagues a consistent and compliant experience\nImprove and optimise HR processes and manager toolkits, from onboarding to offboarding\nDrive people projects end to end, such as engagement actions or process changes, and propose solutions based on what you learn\nYour profile in short\nRequired qualifications (must have):\nMinimum 3 years of experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist or similar HR advisory role\n\nExperience working in a SaaS, tech or fast growing company\n\nWorking knowledge of German employment law\n\nStrong communication skills and the ability to advise and influence managers\n\nDemonstrated ability to manage priorities and run projects from start to finish\n\nComfort with people data and building clear reports\n\nAI savvy: curious and confident using AI tools in your daily work to work faster and smarter, with good judgement on data privacy and quality\n\nLanguage requirements: business fluent German and English, written and spoken\n\nPreferred qualifications (nice to have):\nExposure to organisational change, M&A integration or multi country teams, including employer of record providers\n\nExperience with an HRIS such as Personioand HR platformssuch asLattice\n\nExperience with Jira for tracking and managing work\n\nHands on experience using Claude or similar AI assistants to support HR work\n\nKnowledge of compensation benchmarking or job levelling\n\nA coaching qualification or systemic HR methodology\n\nWhy you will love Maltego\nMaltego is a scale-up company.
