Based in Norcross, Georgia, this high-impact leadership role is responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that support supply chain resilience, cost optimization, supplier performance, and operational excellence across multiple North American locations, including Norcross, GA; Northampton, MA; and Quebec, Canada.\nReporting to the Global Procurement Director, you will partner with key stakeholders across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, R&D, and Finance to ensure procurement activities align with business objectives and support continued growth and innovation.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and execute the North American procurement strategy aligned with business objectives and global procurement priorities.\nLead strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and cost reduction programs.\nBuild and maintain strong supplier relationships to improve performance, manage risk, and ensure continuity of supply.\nCollaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, R&D, and Finance teams to support operational efficiency and new product introductions.\nDrive supplier performance management through measurable KPIs, continuous improvement initiatives, and regular business reviews.\nLead procurement activities across multiple sites in the United States and Canada, ensuring consistent processes, governance, and best practices.\nIdentify and mitigate supply chain risks while strengthening resilience across the supplier network.\nDevelop, mentor, and lead a high-performing procurement team focused on collaboration, accountability, and results.\nSupport sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement efforts throughout the supply chain.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.\n10+ years of procurement or supply chain experience.\nMinimum 5 years of leadership experience managing procurement functions and teams.\nDemonstrated experience leading procurement activities across multiple manufacturing locations.\nStrong expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation.\nExperience with ERP and procurement platforms such as SAP, Ariba, or similar systems.\nExcellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.\nAbility to influence and collaborate effectively across a matrixed global organization.\nNice to Have\nMBA or other relevant master's degree.\nProfessional certifications such as APICS, CIPS, ISM, or equivalent.\nExperience within scientific instrumentation, medical devices, industrial technology, advanced manufacturing, or other high-tech environments.\nExperience supporting global supply chain, procurement transformation, or supplier development initiatives.\nWe provide market-leading, material characterization technologies for the world's most innovative companies, academic institutions, and government laboratories in the analytics of advanced materials.\nWe support our customers through their biggest challenges, from developing lifesaving vaccines to sustainable fuels.
