We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, commercialization, and lifecycle management of our Physisorption & Chemisorption portfolio. In this highly visible role, you will work across global teams to shape product roadmaps, identify market opportunities, and deliver solutions that help customers solve complex materials characterization challenges.\nReporting to the Group Product Manager, Gas Porosity & Reactivity Solutions, you will play a key role in driving portfolio growth, market expansion, and competitive differentiation while partnering with R&D, Sales, Marketing, Applications, Finance, Service, and Operations teams worldwide.\nResponsibilities\nDefine and maintain the product roadmap for assigned products, aligning investments with customer needs and business strategy.\nDevelop business cases and evaluate new product development opportunities to support investment decisions.\nTranslate customer needs, market opportunities, and emerging technologies into compelling product concepts and requirements.\nConduct voice-of-customer research, competitor analysis, and market assessments to inform product strategy.\nEstablish pricing strategies and support portfolio profitability and growth objectives.\nPartner with Marketing to develop product launch plans, demand generation activities, and value proposition messaging.\nEquip Sales teams with product positioning, competitive intelligence, sales tools, and customer-facing collateral.\nManage the full product lifecycle, including new product introductions, enhancements, portfolio optimization, and end-of-life planning.\nDevelop global growth strategies and maintain deep knowledge of competitive technologies and market trends.\nAct as a key product ambassador with customers, industry stakeholders, Applications teams, and Sales organizations.\nWhat You Will Bring to the Role\nBachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.\n5+ years of experience in product management, applications, technical marketing, scientific instrumentation, materials characterization, or a related technical field.\nProven ability to translate customer and market insights into product requirements and commercial strategies.\nStrong analytical, technical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nDemonstrated success working across multidisciplinary and global teams.\nNice to Have\nAdvanced degree (MS, MSc, PhD, or equivalent) in a scientific or engineering discipline.\nExperience with adsorption science, porosity characterization, catalysis, or materials characterization technologies.\nKnowledge of scientific instrumentation markets and global product commercialization.\nExperience developing go-to-market strategies for technical products.\nProduct Portfolio\nThis role has direct responsibility for products within the Physisorption & Chemisorption portfolio, including:\nTriStar\n3Flex\nGemini\nASAP\nChemisorb Auto\nAutoChem\nAccuSorb\nYou will also contribute to the development of the next generation of Physisorption solutions as part of the long-term product roadmap.\nWe provide market-leading, material characterization technologies for the world's most innovative companies, academic institutions, and government laboratories in the analytics of advanced materials.\nWe support our customers through their biggest challenges, from developing lifesaving vaccines to sustainable fuels.
