This role is designed to provide hands-on experience and development opportunities, allowing you to gradually take on more responsibilities and grow into a well-rounded Talent Acquisition professional.\nYou will assist in sourcing and engaging candidates, supporting hiring managers, and ensuring a positive candidate experience while adhering to the pillars of being technology-enabled, candidate-centric, consultative partners, and cost-effective (minimizing agency reliance).\nPlease note, this role is 24-month fixed term contract.\nResponsibilities:\nLearning and Supporting Talent Acquisition Activities:\nPartner with Senior Talent Acquisition team members to understand hiring needs and recruitment strategies.\n\nShadow team members to learn how to source, screen, and engage with candidates effectively.\n\nAssist in writing and posting job descriptions under supervision, ensuring they are inclusive and engaging.\n\nConduct initial outreach to candidates via platforms like LinkedIn or job boards, learning how to represent the organization professionally.\n\nCandidate Pipeline Support:\nBegin building a pipeline of candidates for junior-level roles by learning sourcing techniques and tools.\n\nConduct basic CV reviews and flag potential matches for open roles to senior team members.\n\nSupport candidate communication by scheduling interviews, sending confirmations, and providing status updates.\n\nStakeholder Collaboration:\nWork closely with hiring managers, under the guidance of senior team members, to understand role requirements and job expectations.\n\nBegin participating in intake meetings with managers to observe and learn how to define hiring needs effectively.\n\nTechnology-Enabled Practices:\nLearn to use applicant tracking systems (ATS), such as Greenhouse, to track candidates, update data, and manage workflows.\n\nSupport reporting needs by maintaining accurate data in the ATS and learning to pull basic reports for the team.\n\nDiversity, Equity & Inclusion:\nLearn and adopt best practices for embedding DE&I principles into sourcing and candidate evaluation.\n\nAssist in sourcing diverse talent under the guidance of senior team members.\n\nCost-Effective Practices:\nFocus on direct sourcing and internal talent pools to minimize reliance on external recruitment agencies.\n\nAssist in monitoring agency usage and costs to align with the team’s cost-effectiveness goals.\n\nKey Skills & Experience:\n0-2 years of talent acquisition experience; ideally as a coordinator/junior recruiter, with a strong willingness to learn and develop. \n\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook) and a willingness to learn applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms. \n\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively with guidance. \n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and approachable manner. \n\nCommitment to accuracy in entering candidate data, scheduling, and communications. \n\nA self-starter with a curious and growth-oriented attitude, eager to take initiative and learn. \n\nInclusion, Work-Life Balance and Benefits at Man Group\nYou'll thrive in our working environment that champions equality of opportunity.
