Placement within this range will be based on a combination of relevant experience, certifications, and/or demonstrated skills that align with the role requirements.\nResponsibilities\nProvide quality customer service to include but not limited to the following:\nAttention to detail\nMeet and greet customers\nReview supplied requisition forms to ensure they are properly completed (Signatures, timestamps, part numbers, descriptions and quantities)\nAnswer questions regarding availability of parts\nAsk appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and provided\nIf necessary, inspect equipment in the shop to assist in parts research\nResearch parts for procurement utilizing vendor/manufacturer websites, publications, equipment manuals, microfiche, etc. to ascertain the necessary parts to procure\nAnswer all messages (phone/email) in a timely fashion\nContact appropriate vendors for pricing and to place orders\nInform customers when requested parts are available\nContact Counter/Driver personnel to perform emergency parts pick-ups, as required\nProvide past sales research as requested, utilizing the inventory system\nCheck parts availability at all MANCON locations utilizing the inventory system\nContact other MANCON locations to request transfers of parts or obtain parts information.\nReview, familiarize with and adhere to MANCON’s SOPs, Supervisor Manual, and Safety ManualProduce and review required reports\nEnsure timely completion of all items on the supervisor’s checklist.\nGenerate, distribute, copy and file all invoices for material issued to MaineDOT.\nGenerate the Flat File Fix report. Review and correct identified errors in the inventory system\nGenerate and review the SLA Failure Item Detail Report. Review all items that failed to determine if changes to stocking levels are required, based on the past 12 months of sales history\nGenerate, review and correct items identified on the PT/OP Bin check report\nProduce and process the Reorder report\nGenerate, review and correct the No Min/Max report\nGenerate, review the Inactive Item Report. Take action on items as appropriate.\nProduce and provide backup for all Credit Card purchases to corporateData Entry requirements\nEnsure that all completed customer requisitions are properly invoiced in the inventory system\nEnsure that all vendor receiving documents are properly entered in the inventory system\nEnsure that all inventory transfer requests are properly entered in the inventory system\nGenerate new item numbers in the inventory system following published guidelinesInventory Management requirements\nPerform and report weekly inventory cycle counts\nPerform system research on all cycle count discrepancies\nMonitor and review inventory Bin assignments to ensure accuracy\nReview items sales history to ensure proper Stock Sources are set\nMeet with MaineDOT representatives to discuss future requirements in regard to stocking levels\nProcess Transfer requests from other MANCON locations\nPerform Wall to Wall inventory at site, when notified, following established proceduresOther Requirements\nFollow established guidelines for vehicle and equipment maintenance\nProvide 24-hour support at the MaineDOT location during emergencies\nTravel to locations to pick up parts\nTrain forklift operators\nAssist with inventory research projects as requested\nParticipate in the SCM continuing training program\nSupervise assigned store personnel.\nQualifications\n1 year computer experience\n5 years auto or heavy duty truck parts experience\n1 year inventory experience\n1 year customer service experience\n24-hour availability\nValid driver’s license with 2 years driving experience\nObtain and maintain forklift certificate\nPreferred Qualifications\nDelivery Driver experience\nSupervisory experience\nPhysical Requirements\nMedium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Essential Requirements\nDriving, Lifting, Reaching, Shoveling, Sitting, Standing, Stooping, WalkingPhysical Requirements Other\nWork is mostly performed in storerooms and warehouses which may have uncontrolled temperatures and dirt/dust/damp conditions.
