Nestled between rainforest and sea, each suite and villa is a study in quiet luxury, thoughtfully framed by nature and attuned to the rhythm of the land.\nAbout the job\nThe Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and other refreshments while providing warm, attentive, and personalized service to guests. The role ensures that all beverages are prepared consistently according to established standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming bar area.\nAs Barista you will be responsible for the following duties:\nGuest Service\nWelcome and interact with guests in a warm, professional, and courteous manner.\nTake beverage orders accurately and provide recommendations when appropriate.\nPrepare and serve beverages promptly while maintaining high service standards.\nRespond to guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally and appropriately.\nAnticipate guest needs and personalize the service experience wherever possible.\nBeverage Preparation\nPrepare espresso-based beverages such as espresso, cappuccino, latte, flat white, and Americano according to established standards.\nPrepare specialty coffee, tea, juices, smoothies, and other beverages as required by the outlet.\nEnsure proper operation, cleaning, and maintenance of coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other beverage equipment.\nMaintain consistency in beverage quality, presentation, temperature, and portion control.\nFollow established recipes and presentation standards.\nOperations & Hygiene\nMaintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, coffee station, equipment, and surrounding areas.\nEnsure all equipment is cleaned and maintained according to the required schedule.\nFollow food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and health and safety standards at all times.\nMonitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, garnishes, and other beverage supplies.\nInform the supervisor of any shortages, equipment issues, or quality concerns.\nAssist with receiving, storing, and rotating beverage products according to FIFO principles.\nMinimize wastage and ensure proper handling and storage of all products.\nTeamwork\nWork closely with the Restaurant, Kitchen, Stewarding, and other Food & Beverage teams to ensure smooth operations.\nAssist colleagues during busy periods and support other F&B areas when required.\nAttend daily briefings, training sessions, and departmental meetings.\nMaintain effective communication with supervisors and colleagues.\nGuest Experience & Brand Standards\nDeliver service in accordance with the property's luxury service standards and brand philosophy.\nMaintain a professional appearance and grooming standard at all times.\nDemonstrate knowledge of coffee, beverages, ingredients, and preparation methods.\nCreate a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for guests.\nSupport promotional activities, special events, and seasonal beverage offerings.\nAs Barista,we expect from you:\nEducational Background\nMinimum 1-2 years of experience as a Barista, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort, specialty coffee shop, or high-end restaurant.\nCertificate or qualification in Barista Skills, Food & Beverage, Hospitality, or a related field is an advantage.\nSkills\nGood knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso extraction, milk steaming, and beverage presentation.\nKnowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.\nGood command of English; additional languages are an advantage.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nGuest-oriented with a positive and professional attitude.\nAble to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and shifts.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nOur commitment to you\nLearning & Development.
