Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi offers award-winning 5-star luxury hospitality and authentic local experiences with 390 luxurious rooms and suites along with award-winning culinary cuisines.\nAbout the job\nBased at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi within the Engineering Department, The BMS Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining Engineering Control Room in accordance with EPH standards, to achieve optimum product quality. The BMS Operator reports to the ELV/IT Systems Engineer.\nAs a BMS Operator, you will be responsible for the following duties:\nEnsure the smooth and efficient operation of the central monitoring station and all associated systems.\nManage and respond to 24-hour engineering emergency calls.\nPrepare and generate diagnostic reports from systems to support the technical team, in accordance with the Control Room Operators’ Procedure Manual.\nMonitor, operate, and control the Central Fire Alarm System.\nRecord completed work orders in the database and coordinate follow-up with field staff.\nLiaise with the Fire Department, Gas, Electricity/Water Departments, Security, and building management personnel during emergencies.\nRespond to system alarm reports and take prompt, appropriate action to resolve issues.\nAs a BMS Operator, we expect from you\nPrevious experience in the same role in luxury property, resort experience is a plus\nCertification or training in Building Management Systems (BMS) or related control systems is an added advantage.\nStrong ability to resolve engineering issues using both theoretical and practical knowledge\nProficient in predictive maintenance and the use of maintenance software applications\nStrong communication skills and fluency in English.\nOur commitment to you\nLearning & Development.
