The Residences at Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai are set to open by 2027.\nAbout the job\nBased at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the culinary department in Dubai, the Chef de Partie is responsible to carry out and contribute to delivering exceptional craftsmanship that meet our world-class standards of taste, presentation, and food safety.\nAs a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for the following duties:\nEnsure all ingredients and recipes are followed precisely, maintaining consistency and excellence.\nManage daily ordering of ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations and inventory control.\nMonitor stock and inventory levels in your section, ensuring timely requisitions and minimal waste.\nCollaborate with the team in the development of new recipes.\nSupport broader kitchen operations and cross-functional tasks as needed.\nUphold and comply with all health, food safety, and hygiene standards in line with hotel policies, HACCP requirements, including those mandated by UAE Municipality.\nAs a Chef de Partie, we expect from you:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; formal culinary training is an advantage.\nMinimum of 2 years’ experience in a 5-star hotel or high-end restaurant.\nInternational exposure in at least two regions (Asia, Europe, North America, preferably Middle East) is advantageous.\nStrong understanding of HACCP and food safety practices.\nEffective communication skills in English (verbal & written); knowledge of additional languages is a plus.\nStrong culinary skills with solid knowledge in dish preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.\nOur commitment to you\nLearning & Development.
