The Residences at Mandarin Oriental Downtown Dubai are set to open by 2027.\nAbout the job\nBased at Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the Commercial Department, the Commercial Coordinator supports the Director of Commercial Strategy, Associate Director of Sales, and the wider Sales team to ensure the smooth operation of the department. The role serves as a key liaison between the Sales team and hotel departments, providing administrative and operational support to drive the achievement of the hotel's commercial objectives. The Commercial Coordinator reports to the Director of Commercial Strategy.\nAs a Commercial Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following duties:\nEnsures all assigned requests and activities are handled accurately and within the time frame set by the company.\nProvides administrative and coordination support to the Sales and Events teams in the day-to-day management of business and event requirements.\nPrepares and coordinates event-related documentation, including proposals, contracts, banquet event orders, change forms and other relevant interdepartmental documents, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.\nCoordinates and oversees the administration of internal hotel events, acting as the central point of contact for event requirements and liaising with relevant departments to ensure smooth execution.\nConducts or assists with site inspections as required and supports the Events team with client appointments and meetings.\nActs as a first point of contact for external Sales and Events enquiries, ensuring requests are appropriately delegated to the relevant team member and followed up for timely response.\nAs a Commercial Coordinator, we expect from you:\nDegree or Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel, or Business Management with a minimum of 2 years' experience within Sales in a luxury 5-star hotel environment.\nStrong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications and Delphi, including booking management, reporting, and database maintenance.\nExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused and service-oriented approach.\nProactive problem-solver with a positive attitude, strong time management skills, and the ability to work independently.\nFluent in English; GCC experience and proficiency in an additional language are advantageous.\nOur commitment to you\nLearning & Development.
