In addition, the hotel has two versatile function rooms.\nAbout the job\nBased at the Mandarin Oriental, Milan within the Concierge Department in Milan, the Concierge intern is responsible for assisting and supporting guests. The Concierge intern reports to the Head Concierge.\nAs Concierge intern, you will responsible for the following duties:\nProviding exceptional service to our guests\nOffer a warm, sincere and personalized welcome to all guests\nMaintain a constantly updated database with extensive information about city highlights\nMaintain a consistent and sufficient level of brochures, maps and handouts\nMaintain a daily sheet (via software) of all guest requests, reservations and confirmations for guests\nBe knowledgeable of all in-house and arriving guests\nBe aware of all daily events in the hotel\nArrange tickets for theatre, sporting events and local attractions\nProvide a daily list to the Front Office Manager or Manager On Duty of transportation reservations\nMaintain a clean, neat and organized desk\nAct as a guide when guests ask for direction and physically assist them to their destination within the hotel\nOther activities as deemed appropriate by the Chief Concierge\nAsConcierge intern, we expect from you:\nTo communicate effectively in both English and Italian, written and verbal\nTo demonstrate a strong interest in guest relations and luxury hospitality\nTo exhibit a positive, professional, and service-oriented attitude\nTo show strong communication and interpersonal skills\nTo demonstrate attention to detail and organizational capabilities\nTo be flexible with shifts and adaptable to operational needs\nTo always maintain professionalism and confidentiality\nTo comply with MOHG Pillars, LQEs, and Guiding Principles\nOur commitment to you\n€ 500-600 pocket money\nExcellent Learning & Development opportunities\nMeals available at our Employee Restaurant\nComplimentary Dry Cleaning for Employee Uniforms\nWe’re Fans.
