You will work closely with hotel and corporate teams on Rooms initiatives, projects, communications and operational priorities across the Group.\nAbout the job\nBased at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Corporate Office within the Group Operations / Rooms Operations team in Hong Kong, the Coordinator, Operations, Rooms is responsible for providing coordination, administration, documentation, communication and project support across the global Rooms Operations agenda. The Coordinator, Operations, Rooms reports to the Group Director of Service Excellence and Rooms.\nAs Coordinator, Operations, Rooms, you will be responsible for the following duties:\nSupport the development and maintenance of presentations, documentation, content, best practices and materials for Rooms-related meetings, communications, initiatives and projects.\nParticipate in Rooms Operations initiatives, including working groups, task forces and pilots, while supporting change management, colleague engagement and coordination across the global portfolio.\nCoordinate property surveys, information gathering, best-practice reviews, Rooms calls and other activities supporting global Rooms Operations priorities.\nSupport Rooms Opening Excellence activities, including coordination, tracking, documentation reviews and updates.\nAdminister and maintain Rooms digital resources and collaboration platforms, including Rooms Central, SharePoint and Smartsheet, as required.\nProvide administrative support for relevant Rooms platforms and systems, including helloMO, HMS, Alliants and Actabl, and assist with departmental invoices, expense reports and related processes where required.\nAssist with basic PMS - HMS configuration and updates when required, working alongside the Rooms Operations Manager - Systems & Projects.\nSupport the Group Director of Service Excellence and Rooms with travel planning, schedule organisation, hotel communications and other coordination requirements.\nCoordinate follow-up on agreed team actions, deliverables and updates, helping ensure assigned priorities are completed accurately and on time.\nLiaise with hotels, corporate colleagues and relevant external vendors in support of Rooms Operations projects and initiatives.\nAs Coordinator, Operations, Rooms, we expect from you:\nAround two years of on-property experience within a Front Office department.\nAn undergraduate degree is preferred but not required.\nFluent spoken and written English.\nKnowledge of and basic proficiency in Mandarin Oriental Rooms systems.\nAbility to produce clear, high-quality documentation, presentations and communications.\nProficiency in common computer applications and programmes.\nA well-organised and dependable approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on agreed actions.\nClear and effective communication skills and a collaborative working style.\nA proactive and detail-oriented approach, with a commitment to completing tasks accurately and on time.\nOur commitment to you\nLearning & Development.
