The beachfront resort comprises of 99 suites and villas, all with outdoor terraces and sea views, along with seven restaurants and bars.\nAbout the job\nBased at Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino within the Engineering Department in Pylos, Messenia, Greece, the Engineering Manager is responsible for supervising engineers to uphold policies and procedures in accordance with Mandarin Oriental guidelines and for ensuring compliance to all local, state, and federal regulations.\nAs Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:\nLead and supervise the Engineering team, ensuring consistent adherence to hotel and departmental standards.\nMaintain the physical asset of the resort according to local codes, ensuring compliance with Mandarin Oriental's Fire Life Health and Safety Systems requirements.\nDevelop, implement, and maintain departmental SOPs, while overseeing the execution of Preventative Maintenance programs.\nOversee the daily administration of the facility’s main operating systems and ensure the efficient completion of routine and corrective maintenance tasks.\nLead colleague training on emergency preparedness, communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, and represent the Engineering department in key operational and strategic meetings.\nSet a positive example by upholding all hotel and departmental policies, ensure colleague compliance, and contribute as a member of the resort’s Leadership Team to achieve operational excellence.\nAs Engineering Manager, we expect from you:\nValid EU Passport or Hellenic Residence Permit.\nDegree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.\n3 years' experience in a similar role.\nFluency in English.\nStrong overall computer literacy.\nConstruction and/or facilities management background will be considered as a plus.\nOur commitment to you\nLearning & Development.
