Celebrate the essence of Mallorca through bespoke experiences, dynamic culinary journeys, and rejuvenating wellness - each designed to immerse you in the island’s vibrant atmosphere and extraordinary offerings.\nAbout the job\nBased at the Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, the Events Operations Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of all Food & Beverage events, group dining experiences and banqueting operations, ensuring seamless delivery of events while maintaining the highest service standards.\nAs Events Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:\nCoordinate and oversee all Food & Beverage events, banquets and group dining experiences, ensuring seamless execution from planning through delivery.\nAct as the main liaison between Sales, Food & Beverage, Culinary and other operational departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment of event requirements.\nManage all administrative aspects of events, including Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), function sheets, forecasts, reports and operational documentation.\nPlan event logistics, staffing requirements, room setups, timelines and operational resources according to business needs.\nConduct pre-event briefings and ensure all teams are fully informed of event details, VIP requirements and guest expectations.\nMonitor event execution, anticipating operational challenges and implementing solutions to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.\nSupport revenue optimization through effective planning, upselling opportunities and cost control while achieving departmental objectives.\nAs Events Operations Manager, we expect from you:\nExperience and education\nDegree in Hospitality Management, Event Management or similar.\nAt least Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Banqueting Operations, Conference & Events, or Food & Beverage management.\nLuxury hospitality experience is highly preferred.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong organizational and project management skills.\nExcellent understanding of banquet and event operations.\nAbility to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing business demands.\nAbility to coordinate multiple events simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).\nFluent Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
