The hotel is ideal for meetings and events with its newly renovated event facilities, including a grand historic ballroom.\nAbout the job\nBased at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the Front Office Department, the Front Office Trainee will meet and exceed guest expectations by providing efficient and courteous Front Desk service in accordance with Legendary Quality Experiences. The Front Office Trainee reports to the Assistant Front Office Manager and Front Office Manager.\nAs Front Office Trainee, you will be responsible for the following tasks:\nDelivering exceptional arrival and departure experiences\nSupporting the billing and invoicing process with accuracy and efficiency\nBuilding genuine personal connections with guests and ensuring continuous care, comfort, and warmth throughout their stay\nEnsuring strict adherence to all health and safety regulations\nManaging a variety of administrative and operational tasks while maintaining a thorough understanding of our Mission Statement, Pillars, and service standards\nProactively identifying opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling, encouraging guests to enjoy the full range of hotel facilities\nAs Front Office Trainee, we expect from you:\nEnrolled as a student in a Swiss hotel management school\nWarm welcoming personality with strong communication skills, both verbal and written - guests will approach you with both complaints and positive feedback, so you will always be open and approachable\nGood organisational skills with the ability to handle reservations\nGood understanding of luxury service and willingness to go the extra mile\nExpressiveness, open-mindedness, and team spirit\nAbility to work under pressure and flexibility\nVery good knowledge of German and English.
