Celebrate the essence of Mallorca through bespoke experiences, dynamic culinary journeys, and rejuvenating wellness - each designed to immerse you in the island’s vibrant atmosphere and extraordinary offerings.\n\nAbout the job\nBased at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, as the Receptionist, you will be responsible for ensuring a flawless check-in/check-out process.\nAs Receptionist, you will be responsible for the following duties:\nEnsure smooth and efficient guest arrivals and departures. \nProvide attentive service and address guest needs throughout their stay. \nHandle reception-related paperwork, booking systems, and guest records. \nPerform other tasks as assigned by the Front Office Manager. \nAnswer calls and emails, provide information and assisting with guest requests. \nCommunicate with housekeeping, maintenance, and concierge to ensure guest satisfaction. \nManage guest payments, issue invoices, and handle billing inquiries. \nFollow hotel security procedures, including verifying guest identification and safeguarding personal data. \nHandle and resolve guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner. \nEnsure the reception area is clean, welcoming, and organized. \nTo perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Front Office Manager. \n\nAs Receptionist, we expect from you:\nExperience and education\nPrevious experience in the same role is preferred. \nTechnical Skills\nEffective communication skills in English and Spanish (additional languages are a plus). \nWillingness and flexibility to work in shifts (day, afternoon, and night). \nWell-groomed appearance, adhering to the hotel's grooming standards. \nBasic IT skills, with solid knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). \nFamiliarity of hotel management systems (e.g., HMS, Opera, Fidelio, or similar PMS) \nLegal authorization to work in Spain. \nOur commitment to you\nLearning & Development.
