Our spa introduces Boston to world-acclaimed and unique Mandarin Oriental therapies.\nAbout the job\nBased at the Mandarin Oriental, Boston within the Sales Department in Boston, Massachusetts, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for assisting members of the Sales team with general administrative duties associated with hotel clients. They are a vital source of support for the sales team and assist in the overall achievement of sales goals and objectives.\nThe Sales Coordinator reports to the Director of Commerce and receives direction from assigned Sales and Catering Managers.\nAs Sales Coordinator you will be responsible for the following duties:\nTake full responsibility for assisting members of the Sales team\nPerform administrative duties associated with Sales processes and hotel clients, including, but not limited to:Making and receiving phone calls\nResponding to internal and external inquiries via email\nCreating Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)\nDrafting proposals\nDrafting presentations\nMaintaining accurate files on behalf of the Sales department\n\nProvide quality service by responding to all requests promptly, efficiently and courteously \nSystem reporting analysis\nOther duties as assigned by management in support of the sales process\nAs Sales Coordinator, we expect from you:\nMinimum of one year’s experience in luxury hospitality in a similar role.\nStrong administrative proficiency.\nExcellent guest service attitude and communication skills.\nReading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.\nStrong multitasking ability. \nBachelor’s Degree is preferred\nMultilingual is preferred\nCompensation\nThe hourly rate of pay for this position is $30.96.\nOur commitment to you\nLearning & Development.
