Nestled between rainforest and sea, each suite and villa is a study in quiet luxury, thoughtfully framed by nature and attuned to the rhythm of the land.\nAbout the job\nIt is the mission and intent of Sales Manager to take full responsibility for all aspects of the Sales operations.\nAs a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:\nWorking closely with Director of Commercial in leading the commercial planning and execution of cooperative sales efforts with Leisure and MICE accounts for Mandarin Oriental, Desaru Coast\nActive involvement and execution in the yearly commercial plan and marketing plan together with the Director of Commercial and Director of Marketing\nMaximising revenue opportunities and driving share from leisure and MICE accounts for Mandarin Oriental, Desaru Coast and cross sell to other Mandarin Oriental, Desaru Coast properties when the opportunities arise\nProactively develop new Leisure and MICE accounts to meet or exceed sales targets given by the Director of Commercial, including Corporate/ Leisure groups, Corporate partnerships and Leisure bookings.\nEnsure incremental business from existing accounts\nExplore and ensure maximum brochure coverage for Leisure accounts for Mandarin Oriental, Desaru Coast\nInitiating and executing tactical promotions and campaigns to drive sales to Mandarin Oriental, Desaru Coast\nManaging SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) with key accounts and implementing measurement and action plans against sales targets\nTaking the lead in developing programs to ensure product knowledge updates for all contact points: Product manager, reservations agents, and counter staff.\nManaging all retail travel agencies for Mandarin Oriental, Desaru Coast taking the lead to deliver innovative and industry leading programs to drive sales and shift share.\nManaging all key wholesalers and MICE accounts against targets for Mandarin Oriental, Desaru Coast.\nOrganise and conduct Site inspection, Familiarisation Trips, conference calls, company related social events and functions as and when required by the management after office hours, weekends and public holidays\nOur commitment to you\nLearning & Development.
