The Residences at Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai are set to open by 2027.\nAbout the job\nBased at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the Sales Manager ensures comprehensive and complete coverage of own sales portfolio, covering all levels of accounts and all revenue streams within the account for a comprehensive client servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity. Manages activities related to the sales functions with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of property sales objectives. Achieves personal booking goals and makes recommendations on booking goals. Track record in exceeding targets with the ability to identify, implement and execute sales strategies and account plans.\nAs a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:\nDevelops, acquires and manages business opportunities across relevant market segments and accounts in line with the hotel’s overall commercial strategy and business mix.\nProactively identifies new business opportunities and develops relationships with prospective and existing customers to drive revenue and market share.\nImplements and executes agreed sales objectives, strategies and action plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.\nManages the sales process from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation, conversion and account development.\nQuotes and negotiates rates and commercial terms for transient, long-stay, group and other business within established parameters and approved strategies.\nMaximizes revenue opportunities through effective selling, upselling and cross-selling, while ensuring adherence to established selling strategies.\nAs a Sales Manager, we expect from you:\nDegree or Higher National Diploma equivalent in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management\nMinimum 5 years of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment within Sales and Banqueting with proven records of closing sales.\nPrevious experience in the GCC an advantage.\nExperience in representing hotel at trade shows and sales missions.\nMust be excellent in using computer and well versed in all computer applications.\nMature and outgoing with excellent interpersonal skills for both external and internal customers.\nOur commitment to you\nLearning & Development.
