Nestled between rainforest and sea, each suite and villa is a study in quiet luxury, thoughtfully framed by nature and attuned to the rhythm of the land.\nAbout the job\nThe Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day security operations of the hotel, ensuring the safety and security of guests, colleagues, visitors, and hotel assets. The role includes supervising security personnel, enforcing hotel policies and procedures, responding to incidents, and maintaining a safe and secure environment in line with company standards and local regulations.\nAsSecurity Supervisoryou will be responsible for the following duties:\nOperational Responsibilities\nSupervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Security team and ensure adequate manpower coverage for all shifts.\nConduct regular patrols of the hotel premises, including guest areas, back-of-house areas, parking facilities, and perimeter.\nMonitor CCTV systems, fire alarm panels, access control systems, and other security equipment.\nEnsure all security procedures, emergency response plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are implemented and followed.\nRespond promptly to emergencies, security incidents, accidents, and guest or employee concerns.\nInvestigate incidents, accidents, thefts, and other security-related matters, and prepare detailed incident reports.\nCoordinate with local authorities, including police, fire department, and emergency services when required.\nEnsure lost and found procedures are properly managed and documented.\nAssist in crowd control and traffic management during hotel events and VIP visits.\nPeople Management\nSupervise, coach, and motivate Security Officers to maintain high performance and professionalism.\nPrepare duty rosters, manage attendance, and monitor staff discipline and grooming standards.\nConduct on-the-job training, briefings, and toolbox meetings for the Security team.\nParticipate in the recruitment, orientation, and performance evaluation of Security staff.\nSafety & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with hotel policies, health and safety regulations, and local security requirements.\nConduct regular inspections of fire safety equipment, emergency exits, and safety systems.\nSupport and participate in fire drills, emergency evacuation exercises, and crisis management activities.\nReport and follow up on any potential hazards or security risks identified within the hotel.\nWorking Conditions\nRotating shift work, including weekends and public holidays.\nRequires prolonged standing, walking, and routine patrols around the hotel premises.\nMay be required to respond to emergency situations outside of normal working hours.\nAdministrative Responsibilities\nMaintain accurate records of incidents, shift logs, occurrence reports, and key control registers.\nPrepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly security reports to the Security Manager.\nMonitor and control the issuance and return of master keys, access cards, and security equipment.\nAssist in the development and continuous improvement of security policies and procedures.\nAs Security Supervisor, we expect from you:\nDiploma or Certificate in Security Management, Hospitality Management, Law Enforcement, or a related field is preferred.\nMinimum 3-5 years of security experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role, preferably within the hospitality industry.\nExperience in hotel security operations, emergency response, and incident investigation is an advantage.\nKnowledge of CCTV operations, access control systems, and fire and life safety procedures.\nStrong leadership and team management skills.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.\nStrong observation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.\nGood report writing and documentation skills.\nProficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, email, and security management systems).\nFlexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.\nOur commitment to you\nLearning & Development.
