Celebrate the essence of Mallorca through bespoke experiences, dynamic culinary journeys, and rejuvenating wellness - each designed to immerse you in the island’s vibrant atmosphere and extraordinary offerings.\nAbout the job\nBased at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, as the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies in order to increase online presence and improve marketing and sales efforts of the resort and its outlets. This position works closely with different departments to develop and execute the story telling at the resort.\nAs Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:\nWith the guidance of the Director of Marketing Communications, design and implement the hotel’s social media and e-commerce strategy with KPIs.\n\nProactively plan creative, compelling, and targeted social media activity and campaigns.\n\nStay informed of upcoming trends and developments within the field of social media.\n\nResearch and develop new ways to leverage social content to improve performance.\n\nSetting KPIs for social media agencies and using relevant social media monitoring tools to manage all the resort’s social channels.\n\nConduct competitive analysis of studies on competition and provide recommendations on content changes for the resort’s social channels.\n\nOversee and manage all social media accounts for the resort, including each F&B outlet, while leading community management strategies and daily engagement for every account.\n\nPrepare and implement the annual social media content strategy in accordance to brand.\n\nPlan and execute social media influencer campaigns, working closely with local and/or international influencers / KOLs and with the Public Relations agency.\n\nCollaborate create and execute social media campaigns that will generate leads, drive quality traffic and fans/follower’s engagement.\n\nPrepare monthly reports on social media for distribution to department heads and executive committee.\n\nWork closely with various departments to produce quality content for social media.\n\nWriting, commissioning, and editing materials for a range of key hotel audiences for use across all social media platforms.\n\nPlan, organize and oversee all social media photography / videography sessions.\n\nAs Social Media Manager, we expect from you:\nExperience and education\nBachelor’s degree in Marketing, eCommerce Management, or a related field.\n\nMinimum of 2 years of solid experience in a similar role, preferably within the luxury hospitality sector (resort experience is considered a plus).\n\nTechnical Skills\nExcellent communication skills with an articulate and compelling communication style.\n\nStrong writing ability, capable of adapting tone and style to different audiences and communication platforms.\n\nProven project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.\n\nStrong attention to detail and organisational skills.\n\nCreative mindset with the ability to think innovatively and work with flair and imagination.\n\nStrong communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.\n\nOur commitment to you\nLearning & Development.
