Listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand in 1988, it is managed by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, with Italthai as a principal shareholder.\nAbout the job\nAs Sous Chef - Instructor - Thai Cooking School, you will be responsible for the following duties:\nPrepare all Mise en place for cooking class, to the established standards.\nClear away and store all Mise en place items at the end of each cooking class .\nMaintain assigned area in clean and hygienic condition.\nPrepare food items according to the standard recipes.\nMinimize wastage and spoilage of all food items.\nCollect food requisitions as requested.\nAssist in maximizing morale and productivity.\nWork in any section of the kitchen as instructed by the chef de cuisine or Sous Chef if not busy in cooking class .\nMaintain a good working relationship with all colleagues and other departments.\nEnsure all operating equipment and utensils are maintained clean, in good working order with minimum amount of breakage.\nMaintain high standards of personal hygiene and appearance at all time;\nUniform; trousers, jacket, necktie, hat and shoes.\nPersonal cleanliness, hygiene.\n\nAbide by all rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Hotel.\nInsure her or his sections its follow our HACCP rules and regulations.\nAs Sous Chef - Instructor - Thai Cooking School, we expect from you:\nCulinary diploma and accredited continuing education requirement.\nMinimum of 3 years specializing in the area of expertise from well-recognized properties/restaurants.\nPossess good English and Thai communication skills.\nPassionate, committed, creative, flexible, and a team player with a high energy level.\nAbility to perform duties under pressure.\nComputer literate and HACCP knowledge.\nOur commitment to you\nLearning & Development.
