As the Group continues to expand, we are investing in technology, operational excellence, and transformation initiatives that enhance colleague experiences, drive productivity, and support sustainable growth across our worldwide operations.\nAbout the job\nBased at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Corporate Office within the Finance Operations Department in Hong Kong, the Transformation Project Manager is responsible for leading strategic transformation projects, with an initial focus on the Group's Labour Optimisation programme. The role supports the implementation of technology solutions, process improvements, and change management initiatives across Mandarin Oriental's global portfolio.\nThis is a 6-month fixed-term contract role focused on the successful delivery of a key global transformation initiative. The Transformation Project Manager reports to the Senior Operational Excellence Lead.\nAs Transformation Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:\nLead project governance and delivery activities, including project plans, RAID logs, tollgate reviews, budgets, steering committee updates, and progress reporting.\nCoordinate with hotel teams, corporate stakeholders, and external vendors to support successful implementation, user adoption, and issue resolution.\nFacilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities across multiple regions and functions.\nManage change management and communication activities to support organisational adoption of new processes and technology solutions.\nTrack project performance, labour optimisation outcomes, productivity improvements, and agreed KPIs.\nIdentify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement while ensuring projects remain on track to deliver intended business value.\nAs Transformation Project Manager, we expect from you:\nBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 6 years' experience delivering digital transformation, operational improvement, system implementation, or change management projects.\nDemonstrated experience managing large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders, workstreams, and third-party vendors.\nExperience in project governance, issue resolution, risk management, and value realisation tracking.\nStrong change management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.\nExperience facilitating workshops, training, and cross-functional collaboration sessions.\nAbility to work effectively across regions, cultures, departments, and seniority levels.\nSelf-motivated, organised, and results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.\nAbility and willingness to travel up to 70% of the time, including domestic and international travel as required.\nHospitality industry experience preferred but not required.\nFluent written and spoken English.\nWe're Fans.
