We rise above industry standards when every associate embraces their unique role and seizes the opportunity to make an impact.\nA Floating Maintenance Technician performs a wide variety of maintenance, repair, grounds keeping, and other interior and exterior maintenance duties for communities under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor. This position does not have a single designated worksite. Instead, this position is expected to travel between and perform work at multiple properties within a designated market or region.The responsibilities for a Floating Maintenance Technician with Bell Partners may include painting, snow/ice removal, gutter cleaning, replacing filters, working with trash compactor, plumbing, light bulb replacement, A/C maintenance, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repair.\nWhat we can offer you:\nOpportunities for career growth \nTotal rewards benefits package \nFamily health insurance, 401(k) match, Vacation, Personal Days, and Sick time \nCustomized training programs \nAssociate referral bonus plan \nDiverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment \nA culture that empowers you to make a difference \nWhat you’ll do to make a difference:\nAlways show respect for residents and community staff, providing excellent customer service \nPerform routine interior and exterior community maintenance, as well as equipment maintenance as scheduled and requested \nRespond to all repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staff \nReport equipment malfunctions and breakdowns as well as any hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor in a timely manner \nMaintain resident privacy and receive proper authority before entering resident apartments \nEnsure that all maintenance items are kept in a safe area to prevent injuries \nAttend in-service training and education sessions, as assigned \nWork with vendors as instructed, such as landscaping, painting, asphalt, etc. \nFollow all safety/OSHA requirements \nRegular attendance and punctuality \nWhat you bring to our team:\nMinimum of 18 years of age \nHigh School degree or equivalent \nUnderstanding of and alignment with Bell Core Values \n1-3 years of previous maintenance experience in a similar facility preferred \nBasic understanding and ability to repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, and mechanical systems \nHVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications may be required in many communities, based on staffing levels \nExcellent oral and written communication skills \nStrong customer service skills \nAvailability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends \nPhysical requirements of the job:\nWalking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting to 80 lbs.\nAbility to work with mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as hazardous materials\nMust be comfortable with heights and moving heavy objects\nCompensation Range\nAnnual Salary: $60,000.00 - $66,000.00Incentive compensation opportunities are available and are performance based.\nAbout Bell Partners\nOur purpose at Bell Partners is to create communities our residents are proud to call home.
