are seeking an experienced RAMS, PRAMS, Reliability or Systems Engineer to support the delivery of major rail and infrastructure projects. \nThe successful candidate will provide specialist engineering and assurance expertise across Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety (RAMS), supporting the development, management and assurance of systems throughout the project lifecycle. \nThe role will work closely with engineering, project, assurance, safety and operational teams to ensure that systems and assets meet the required technical, reliability, maintainability and safety requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and manage RAMS and PRAMS requirements throughout the project lifecycle.\nDevelop and maintain RAMS plans, strategies, cases and supporting documentation.\nUndertake reliability, availability and maintainability analysis and assessments.\nDevelop and maintain reliability predictions, failure analyses and associated engineering models.\nUndertake FMEA/FMECA, fault tree analysis and other appropriate reliability and safety assessments.\nIdentify and manage technical, reliability and safety risks.\nSupport the development and management of system requirements and technical specifications.\nEnsure RAMS requirements are appropriately allocated to systems, subsystems, suppliers and assets.\nReview and assess supplier and contractor RAMS submissions.\nProvide RAMS and systems assurance throughout design, construction, testing and commissioning.\nSupport verification and validation activities to demonstrate compliance with specified requirements.\nDevelop and review safety and assurance cases where required.\nMonitor RAMS performance and identify trends, deficiencies and opportunities for improvement.\nProvide technical input into design reviews, hazard workshops, risk assessments and engineering meetings.\nSupport the management of non-conformances, defects, technical queries and engineering changes.\nReview engineering evidence and documentation to ensure compliance with contractual and technical requirements.\nLiaise with clients, contractors, designers, suppliers and other project stakeholders.\nPrepare technical reports, RAMS assessments, assurance documentation and presentations.\nSupport audits, assurance reviews and independent technical assessments.\nEnsure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, project procedures and client requirements.\nExperience & Qualifications\nDegree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related technical discipline.\nProven experience in RAMS, PRAMS, Reliability, Systems Engineering or Engineering Assurance.\nExperience working on major rail, transport, infrastructure or other safety-critical projects.\nStrong understanding of RAMS principles and lifecycle management.\nExperience with reliability and maintainability analysis.\nExperience with FMEA/FMECA, fault tree analysis and failure analysis.\nExperience developing and reviewing technical assurance documentation.\nKnowledge of systems engineering principles and requirements management.\nExperience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.\nStrong technical report writing and communication skills.\nAbility to analyse complex technical information and communicate findings clearly.\nExperience working within structured engineering assurance and safety processes.\nDesirable Experience\nPrevious experience within the UK rail industry.\nNetwork Rail, TfL, London Underground or major rail infrastructure experience.\nExperience with CSM-RA and railway safety assurance.\nKnowledge of EN 50126 / EN 50128 / EN 50129 or equivalent RAMS standards.\nExperience with GRIP/PACE or other formal project lifecycle processes.\nExperience with railway systems such as signalling, telecommunications, rolling stock, traction power, OLE or station systems.\nMembership of a relevant professional engineering institution.\nChartered Engineer
