This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of process engineering activities, work closely with major UK water companies and contribute to the delivery of innovative, sustainable solutions within the water sector.\nThe Role\nAs a senior member of the engineering team, you will lead clean water process design activities across multiple projects, providing technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you'll collaborate with engineers, project managers and clients to ensure designs are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest technical standards.\nYou will also act as a key point of contact for clients, presenting technical solutions, supporting project delivery and mentoring junior engineers where required.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the delivery of clean water process design from concept through to detailed design.\nProduce and review process calculations, PFDs, P&IDs and technical specifications.\nProvide technical leadership and guidance to process engineers and multidisciplinary teams.\nBuild and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the technical lead on process engineering matters.\nPresent engineering solutions and recommendations to clients and project stakeholders.\nEnsure projects are delivered in line with programme milestones, budgets and industry standards.\nParticipate in design reviews, technical workshops and value engineering activities.\nSupport business development activities, bids and proposals where required.\nAbout You\nTo be successful in this role, you will have:\nA minimum of 10 years' experience in clean water process engineering.\nAble to regularly travel to client offices (notably South East Water in Snodland, Kent).\nProven experience delivering front-end and detailed design for UK water industry projects.\nA strong understanding of current UK clean water treatment processes, legislation and design standards.\nExperience leading process engineering activities within multidisciplinary project teams.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nThe ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high technical standards.\nIdeally, you will also hold Chartered Engineer status (or be working towards it) through IChemE, IET, CIWEM or an equivalent professional
