Using market intelligence, cost modelling and financial analysis, you will support both commercial and government procurement activities while driving best value across the supply chain.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead cost and pricing analysis of supplier proposals and help establish the Procurement Finance Analyst capability within the UK business.\nDevelop macro and microeconomic metrics across the supply chain, including monitoring market indices, foreign exchange movements and legislative impacts.\nGather, analyse and interpret supplier financial data to identify performance trends and cost-saving opportunities.\nAssess complex supplier proposals to determine fair and reasonable pricing positions.\nConduct detailed cost and price analysis using statistical methods, market intelligence and parametric cost models.\nDevelop and substantiate cost estimates to support supplier negotiations.\nWork collaboratively with Procurement, Finance, Engineering and Supplier Management teams.\nExtract, analyse and present supplier and business performance data through reports and KPIs.\nDevelop material cost tracking processes and support expenditure planning.\nEvaluate supplier pricing structures, including fixed-price and cost-plus arrangements.\nConduct financial, operational and proposal audits of supplier data and supporting documentation.\nDevelop cost estimates using historical data, technical requirements and industry benchmarks.\nSupport procurement teams in developing negotiation strategies that achieve best value.\nAssist with supplier selection, bid evaluations and contract placement activities.\nRepresent Supply Chain at programme and supplier meetings.\nBuild strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.\nEssential Skills & Experience\nMinimum of five years' experience in Procurement Finance, Cost Analysis, Finance, Estimating, Contracts, Business Operations or Supplier Management.\nBachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.\nStrong experience analysing supplier proposals, pricing data and financial information.\nExcellent analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.\nExperience using cost models, pricing analysis and market data to support procurement decisions.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to influence commercial negotiations through robust financial analysis.\nHighly organised with excellent attention to detail.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.\nDesirable\nExperience within the aerospace, defence or highly regulated engineering sectors.\nKnowledge of government and commercial procurement practices.\nExperience supporting supplier negotiations and sourcing activities.\nFamiliarity with cost-plus and fixed-price contract structures.\nThis is an excellent
